Our chef is on-hand throughout your stay to prepare mouth-watering dishes for your enjoyment. The Mountain House Hotel enjoys a reputation for exuisite and innovative international cuisine.

Only the freshest New Zealand produce is selected and we have a focus on local seafood, fruits, vegetables and meat. All relishes, jams and other preserves are home-made, as are our bread and smoked Fish.

Being a Luxury accomodation you can expect fine dining cuisine with a very high attention to detail, perfectly matched with wine chosen from Germany, France and New Zealand.

We give you the possibility to discover some outstanding Wines from Germany, Fance and New Zealand.

Three Course Evening Menu

A 3 Course Dinner is served from 6 pm, where you will enjoy Soup or Appetizer, your choice of one of two main meal selections and then your choice of one two dessert selections. Your evening meal is finished with a Digestive and Expresso Coffee. We describe our cuisine as innovatively international with a Mediterranean and Asian influence. Angus Awakino Beef is a favourite on our evening menu.

We offer a full Intercontinental breakfast each morning along with a menu of Cooked Breakfast selections.
